After an intense review phase, the Best Climate Practices Observatory is proud to announce the official participants to the 2016 Contest on “Expanding access to climate financing”.
The admitted proposals are now published on the Best Climate Practices platform: go to the BCP Practices page, select the “In contest” red button and scroll down to view all participating practices’ profiles. Or explore them in this map.
We deeply thank all groups, individuals, and organizations who sent dozens of projects and ideas from around the world!
The most valuable proposals not admitted to the contest (because they do not relate directly to this year’s contest theme) will be published on the Best Climate Practices platform as non-competing practices for dealing with climate change and its related challenges.
The 14 applications that fulfilled the contest’s participation criteria will undergo a two-fold process: the public online poll and the assessment of the international Expert Panel. The practices will be graded with a score weighted between the online poll’s results and the rate assigned by the Expert Panel. The winning practice will be awarded a prize of 3000 Euros to contribute to the development of the project or idea.
The online public poll opens on Monday June 13 until July 18. Registered users can vote their favorite practices and share them on social networks, increasing their chance of winning.
